A gentle pause.
A faithful next step.

VIC Dawn icon

VIC—Virtual Intelligent Conscience—is an early Firefox extension with voluntary reminders for selected websites and submitted Google searches. Its prepared support covers temptation, encouragement, prayer, and returning after a stumble, alongside a small doctrine library.

Offline support, a personal choice

Guided content runs locally without AI requests. The user can leave, find support, or continue. Rules are limited and editable; they can miss content or flag innocent searches. VIC is not tamper-proof and does not monitor other apps.

A tested beginning

Version 0.1.3 has been signed for private distribution by Mozilla and tested on its owner’s desktop Firefox. A public download is not hosted here yet. The iPhone Safari extension is a separate, untested development package.

Somewhere purposeful to go

Our welcome space offers a quiet moment, prayer, and a constructive next step. Connecting it to the installed extension requires a signed update after the website address is established. The installed Leave button has not been changed.

For early testers

Obtain the signed .xpi file from the project owner. In desktop Firefox, open Add-ons and themes, use the gear menu, and choose Install Add-on From File. Review the permissions yourself. Website access allows address matching and reminders; private-window access is a separate choice.

Start with the harmless example.com test. Later updates currently require manual signed installation.
